I'm not familiar with the various WRT's and can't quite figure out which would be best. I'm interested in whatever has the biggest development base because I don't really *need* any new functionality. Just a better firmware for this POS. I've been tasked with setting up a wifi network for my company. They gave me a D-Link DWL-2700AP (H/W ver: B1) and said go at it boy. I managed to get it working on our network and letting clients connect. But it was buggy and constantly ****ed up. There is a lot of info on what I need this network to do here: http://www.linksysinfo.org/forums/showthread.php?t=62420 - but really what I don't think thats very relavant as I'm looking to find which version of WRT has the most supported hardware/biggest package repository so I dont waste weeks on forums trying to research which one would be best. Thanks for any help
i am running a linksys WRT54G v2.2 running dd-wrt and it has been running well for 5-6 years without trouble and still going but if you can find a EnGenius EAP-3660 or cisco e2000 or linksys wrt54gl should also work well with dd-wrt or sputnik firmware
