hi, i have a Buffalo WHR-G125 and i recently switched to tomato v1.23 (from dd-wrt) and am getting about a 1/4 to 1/2 of the range that i was getting with dd-wrt. i configured tomato as close as i could to how i had configured dd-wrt. what was strange is that at the furthest point from the router in my house, with tomato i would be getting full signal, but just not able to connect to the internet; the first part of a webpage would start downloading and then nothing else would load. i then took my laptop in the same room as my router (still getting full signal) and was able to connect and browse the internet. i also noticed that the signal appeared to be unstable, it would fluctuate quite drastically, from full bars, down to 2 or 3 and then shoot back up to full and repeat, etc. sometimes my laptop or iphone would lose it's connection for a short period of time. i have since reloaded dd-wrt and i get great signal again (full bars everywhere, no fluctuation) and can connect everywhere in my house. am i missing something? did i configure something incorrectly? and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

well it's good to know i'm not the only one. it's weird that when configured almost exactly the same, the range could be that different (i used the same mW setting of 50 in both Tomato and DD-WRT).
