    Hi Folks,

using Tomato now for approx 3 years I decided to look behind the lines and use my old Workstation as Sophos UTM (http://www.sophos.com/en-us/products/unified-threat-management.aspx)
    Demo: http://www.sophos.com/en-us/products/unified-threat-management/demo.aspx

FREE Iso for virtual appliance or installing on Workstation (x68/amd64) can be found here:
    http://download.astaro.com/UTM/v9/software_appliance/iso/

    Features:
Advanced Webinterface, Overall Performance (for 400/60 mbit/s Connection), daily Reports via mail... Logging and mails for false Logins e.g., webserver protection and reverse Proxy... Web protection via transparent Proxy...
Running binaries and Drivers chrooted (based on Open Suse Enterprise Server offers many Features)

Firewall rules and inital Setup was Kind of a struggle.

If anyone is interested I will create a tutorial on how to migrate or which Features you will have.

My Workstation (Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM) uses 21W in idle mode so fighting the AC68U I have here.

My Intention is no offense or sth like that. I just wanted to share the positive experiance I've made :)
