    Hello.
I have done various searches and found others with the same issue but no solution. My wifi will stop working randomly until I power cycle the router. Wired connections continue to function normally and I can access the administrative page from a wired connection. I thought it could be heat related so I added a heatsink but the problem persists. Does anyone have a solution? Is it the 32k ram bug or similar? Thank you.

Is this a "new" old router, or "old" old router? The model dates back to 2005.

Sometimes it's just because it's an "old" old router. The chipsets start to deteriorate from the constant heat over many years, then it becomes unreliable. These things *do* wear out eventually.
