I need to solve weak signal in two rooms in my house. I tried to set antennas, try different location of my main router but no success.

I have 1 bar in these rooms and wifi drops very often. I cannot solve it by a cable - it is impossible for me. So I would like to buy wifi extender, but I dont know which one...

I need something with 2,4ghz n support, 300mbit - it is enought for me (at least for these two rooms).

    Which one do you recommend?

For example - Asus RT-N12D/E or which one? :D
    - TP-Link TL-WR841ND or N
    - any plug

Is powerline an option for you? Latency isn't great, but throughput could be much higher if your wiring is good.

If wireless is your only option, you could re-purpose old hardware. Do you have any spare dd-wrt-compatible routers with 300mbit 2.4GHz radios?

Powerline is not a solution for me - there are old wires...

I tried tplink usb adapter with 2x5dbi antennas and I got 270mbit connection and 5bars so I think it could be enought to buy any extender with these antennas... Stability is priority for me

OK, so what would be better? Any suggestions?

    ASUS RT-N12 D
    TP-Link TL-WR841ND / TL-WR843ND

    Thank you in advanced
