Will there be a further DD-WRT version with by default integrated FON www.fon.com Hotspot?

I love the idea behind FON - thousands of users do have a WRT54G / GS so please: integrate FON into DD-WRT to support the idea!

there was. but since fon doesnt want dd-wrt but the own system it will not be officially supported right now. but if you know how you can configure dd-wrt to be a fon hotspot

    Thanks for the reply.
Could you please update the build in fon.cgi?
I installed that using http://192.168.1.1/fon.cgi but I think the values are no longer up to date.

The latest chillispot settings I fond are

    http://download.fon.com/firmware/update/0.6.5/3/chilli.conf

    radiusserver1 radius01.fon.com
    radiusserver2 radius02.fon.com
    radiussecret garrafon
    dhcpif eth1
    uamserver https://login.fon.com/cp/index.php
    uamsecret garrafon
    uamallowed www.fon.com,www.paypal.com,www.payp...e.com,www.martinvarsavsky.net,213.134.45.0/24

I downloaded the file. Chilli.conf looks like:

    ##############################################################################
    #
    # Fon ChilliSpot configuration file
    # Powered by FON (www.fon.com)
    #
    ##############################################################################
    radiusserver1 radius01.fon.com
    radiusserver2 radius02.fon.com
    radiussecret garrafon
    dhcpif eth1
    uamserver https://login.fon.com/cp/index.php
    uamsecret garrafon
    uamallowed www.fon.com,www.paypal.com,www.paypalobjects.com,www.skype.com,www.martinvarsavsky.net
    uamanydns

So nothing changed from 0.65 to 0.66

    Hello BrainSlayer,

are you sure everything is working correct with nightly build 30/06?
I had FON 0.6.5 -> everything was working

I installed the DD-WRT nightly build, did a factory reset and opened http://192.168.1.1/fon.cgi

After the restart my laptop got an IP 192.168.1.100 (FON´s given IP was 192.168.182.2). I started surfing but never got the FON login screen when openeing the first webpage (so there was no redirection to https://login.fon.com).

Someone told me, I had to switch of the DHCP server for the WLAN under "SETUP" because the chillispot would assign the IP´s. But if I do so, my laptop finds the WLAN router but doesn´t get an IP.

Do you have any ideas? Or have you tried that yourself?

I know, but it didn´t work before, too. Therefore I was just asking if there might be a bug in the chillispot part of DD-WRT.

look into the offical fon forum. even the original fon firmware doesnt seem to work right now. maybe the server background of fon has a fault

    Sorry for one more question:

    FON chillispot.conf uses eth1.
eth1 in openWRT stands for WLAN, right?

If I use DD-WRT´s fon.cgi DHCP Interface within chillispot is set to WAN - not to WLAN. Is this really correct?
Manually I can only choose between
    WAN
    LAN
    LAN+WLAN

so far you see eth1 in chilli.conf everything is already. the fon.cgi does not just set some special settings. it does also some other things internally. so the values in the gui maybe wont fit to the right configuration

I don´t want to steal your time, just two things I want to point your attention to:

    1) If I run http://192.168.1.1/fon.cgi the web-GUI is badly rearranged after the restart. You have to select a webstyle manually after the restart.

    2) Some others - like myself - do have the problem, that they can surf the net but never get the FON login webpage. So it looks like as chillispot is not running; but if I telnet and try "ps" a chillispot task seems to run:
    http://boards.fon.com/viewtopic.php?t=520&start=75

    3) If I use 20060712 version and try to change "Primary radius server IP" to 213.134.45.160 and click on "Save settings" it says "Saved" but this seems to have no affect. If I click on "Reboot router" nothings happens and if I click an "status" and then click on "hotspot" the old settings are still there.
