Will WRT54G & WRE54GS5 work together?

I currently have the following set up:

    WRT54G with latest HyperWRT Firmware
    WRE54G with latest Linksys Firmware

Have a printer + desktop wired into the router, and two more computers wirelessly connected to the network.

I will be adding some more stuff in the very near future, but the devices will be located in a different room and will not have wireless access to the current network. What I was wondering if it is possible to wire them into WET54GS5 and then have it connect to the router. Basically what I want to know is if I plug computer 4&5 into WET54GS5 would it connect to WRT54G wirelessly and work that way, or would I need more stuff?

When connecting to the network, if you are using the signal from the WRE54G repeater, you want to select the SSID and MAC address of the repeater. The WRE54G has some shortcoming. It will disable your MAC Address filtering on your WRT54GS, it cuts your bandwidth by more than half, since it only has one radio and must receive and then retransmit the packets with its own MAC address. You have a speed booster router and the WRE54G is not a speedbooster device. You paid the money for speedbooster and any PC using the signal from the WRE54G will not get speedbooster. The WET54GS5 should be all you need.
