I'm looking for some assistance with a networking issue. I'm using a Sangean internet radio with a WRT54G router and a Dell desktop running XP. I set up a network for the radio, which recognozes the wireless network and works fine, as does a wireless laptop. But when I try to access the PC from the radio in order to use Windows Shares (the PC is plugged into the WRT54G), the radio doesn't find the PC on the network. I have tried disabling the firewall, but it doesn't work. Does anyone know what I need to do to get the radio to recognize the PC on the network? Do I need to set up a separate wireless network using the Network Wizard and name it the same thing as the wireless network established by the router? I don't understand how the radio recognizes the router network and the PC is connected to the router but the radio doesn't recognize the PC; I thought since the PC and the radio are on the network the radio could find the PC to access the shared files. I obviously don't understand much about networking, so any assistance will be greatly appreciated!
