I have WRT54GS V5 Router, WPC54GS Network adapter. I'm using checkpoint's secureclient to vpn into coporate network.

Machine running XP SP1. When I connect to router thru hardwire, I can vpn fine. When I do it thru wireless adapter, it doesn't work.

I left router at factory default and disabled wireless security for testing.

Why does the VPN software not work thru the wireless connection?

    wireless mac issue

I would like to know if you were ever able to connect to the VPN wirelessly in the past using the same wireless adapter. If not it could be your issue with the MAC address of your wireless adapter. I think you need to register the MAC address of your wireless adapter with your Coporate IT Department

I also tried reducing RTS, but did not help.
