I used to have a Wireless-B product for all these years from linksys. I finally got a Wireless-G. Is the Wireless-G still useable, or things like Speedbooster needed these days? Thanks!

If you've been using B, G should be a pleasant upgrade.

But is Speedbooster needed? Or is speedbooster Pre-N which no standard is established? Should I wait a year until N comes out? I have regular G right now.

If you need the higher speed and distance now, go for the pre-n. im going to wait, my WRT54G and 7dbi antenna are plenty for my needs right now. your only going to benefit from speedbooster if the router and wireless cards support it. you might notice a difference between G and speedbooster if your doing a lot of file transfers
