Wireless Bridge help needed; have duplicate MAC addresses

Need some help with setting up a wireless bridge out of a WRT54G router. I have 2 routers, both running DD-WRT firmware, v23 SP1, both WRT54G v.6. First one is set up as an AP (works great!) and the second is set up as a wireless bridge following the DD-WRT.com wiki/Wireless Bridge setup. I have a laptop hooked up to the bridge but it can't connect to the internet. I can access the bridge control panel from both the laptop attached to the bridge and the desktop hooked up to the AP. This tells me (maybe incorrectly) that the bridge and the AP are "seeing" each other. Checking the Sys-Info tab on the AP and the bridge, I am seeing that the MAC addresses (LAN, WAN, and Wireless) for both the AP and the bridge are exactly the same! What can cause this? I have been working on this for about 2 days with no success. I have run out of ideas and didn't see anyone in the various forums that has had the same problem. Any help is greatly appreciated!
