I'm running dd-wrt v23 sp1 built 3/3. I have two wireless laptops and I can't ping each others. Trying to remote control one another using a remote control software, so I don't have to run upstair everytime I need to work on the other laptop. This feature works before the latest bulit upgrade. Can someone confirm this?

are you using AP ISOLATION ? if yes, disable it

    check Wireless > advanced settings

I checked and AP Isolation was set to "on". I turn it "off" and still couldn't ping.

    Thanks for your response.

    Try disabling Loopback.

    Err, try ENABLING loopback?

but really, AP Isolation should have fixed it... did you reboot the router - powercycle?
