New WRT54GS connected to DSL with static IP

Computer 1 (XP) is directly connected and has Internet access (thus IP settings are correct for router- this is a business and have always had static IP)

Computer 2 (98) has a USB wireless card. No problem setting up things and connection is said to be good, but cannot access Internet.

Internet explorer connection settings are the same for both machines.

    HELP!!

    Thanks in advance
