Wireless connection problem with WRVS4400N

I bought a WRVS4400N to attempt to use it for VPN. I have not been able to get past even using it for wireless!

I am running 1.1.03 firmware, which seems to be the latest. I am running completely open and default with the exception of changing the SSID.

My laptop is XP Pro current and has a BCM4311 and I am running a driver on it with the Broadcom Utility as well as WZC. Both will connect for a while, say 15-20 minutes, and then disconnect and go into limited connectivity.

I loaded a linksys WUSB54GS and am trying that currently to see if it will stay connected.

I thought of turning TCP Chimney off, but heard that problem was more along the lines of BCM5700 adapters...

TIA for any help or direction.

I can't get this thing to work at all now.

I completely rebooted it like another user here said.

Half the time nothing will connect to it from a wireless perspective. The other half the connection dies after 15-20 minutes, and will never connect agin until I reboot to factory defaults.

Does ANYONE make a decent WAN router with VPN for SOHO? Wired or Wireless?

I'm having the same problems. Started out just not being able to do advanced (client VPN) features, now can't even connect wireless. This is my second one of these, first was RMA. The RMA replacement did not come with a power supply, so I had to buy one of those separate. When I tried to use Linksys online chat for support, they told me that their one tech for this model was currently busy, and that I should try back later. When I offered to wait until they were free, they admitted that their chat software could not handle that type of queuing so I should just call on the phone in about an hour.

I told them where they could put their WRVS4400N.
