Hi there, i'm on a WRT54GL 1.1 running Tomato 1.21 (no mods) and bandwidth is being controlled by the robsonn script generator. I'd like to get a wireless network running where internet will only be provided to a selected few whose MACS i've registered. the rest would only have Wireless LAN access. there is a feature in the script generator to do so, but i can't seem to get it to work. anyone with better experience?

If you want to allow computers to connect wirelessly and have lan access but no net access, set it up in "Access Restrictions" within Tomato.

Create a new Access Restriction and do the following:

    1 - Tick 'Enabled'
2 - Enter a description like "LAN Access Only"
3 - Tick 'All Day' and 'Everyday'
    4 - Select 'Normal Restriction'
5 - In the "Apply To" drop down, select 'All Except...'. Then enter the MAC Address' of the computers you WANT to give LAN AND INTERNET access to. This way, if a computer's MAC Address is not in list, they won't have internet access, but will have LAN access.
6 - Tick 'Block All Internet Access'
    7 - Click 'Save'

    And your good to go.

PS: You can select "The Following..." from the "Applies To:" drop down menu. But if you do it this way, you only enter the MAC Address' of computers you strickly want to disable internet access for. Unless you know the MAC Address' of the computers that you want to disable it, I'd go the other way as I mentioned above in the step by step guide.
