wireless nic and linux

    can any one recomand wireless card that would have drivers for ubuntu linux?

    Head over to http://www.ubuntuforums.org and post your question there. It's a very active online forum for Ubuntu-crazy people. I know that there have been a number of postings on the subject.

    i was thinking i could get a answer on one forum. thx for help i check out ubuntu linux :)

    Ubuntu forums may be best. In case you don't come right, here some pointers:

    Any card that works with the madwifi driver, such as the Linksys WPC55AG, and pretty much all the cards that come with the Atheros chipset. Cards based on the Broadcom chipset sometimes are a bit difficult to get going, although some/most? of them can be made to work using ndiswrapper (with Win drivers).
