Wireless not working on WRT300N v2

I bought the silver WRT300N and I've set it up like my previous WRT54Gv2. The computer that is connected on the router through a wire is working correctly (since I'm posting this from that computer).

The problem is that both laptops that I have are not detecting the wireless connection. I have set the SSID to transmit but it didn't work.

    Any ideas?

p.s. I have firmware 2.0.14 on the router.

did you set the 300N wireless to allow "G" or "B" connections

Sorry for taking so long but I'm not the only one that uses this computer.

    The wireless settings are
    1) Network Mode: Mixed (Other option is Disable which turns the wireless off)
    2) Radio Band: Standard (Allows only G,B)
    3) Channel: 4-2.427GHz (Was the default selection)
    4) SSID Broadcast: Enable

The rest of the options are default. The problem is still there but I can't find anything wrong with the settings.

it was the "Radio Band" that i was referring to. have you tried factory resetting it? if so, perhaps your router is faulty

I did some more testing as well as downgrading to 2.00.11. Apparently if I change the Channel, my laptops are able to see the connection but I can't access the internet.

I'll try all the channels and see which one works and I'll let you know.

I found a channel that worked for a few hours on both laptops but when my internet connection was cut, the wireless connection was once again lost.

Any ideas as to why that happened and how to fix it?
