    Hi

    I flashed my Asus WL-520gu with tomato/mlppp Version 1.19-mp2
however, the signal to my laptop when on wireless is horrible. its not very far either.

When i first got the router and flashed using the generic 1.27 tomato from the website it was working perfect. i then decided to use the usb mod and it was still working fine. then one day as i was preparing to switch over to an isp that supported MLPPP, i decided to switch to the MLPPP version 1.25. this is where things went down hill.

Im having so many issues with my wireless signal on my router. going from good signal to low and from 54Mbps all the way down to like 12.

Is there anything i can do to fix this? is this a known issue? i dont know whats wrong. oh and i tried flashing back to those same firmwares but it still had the same problem..

    Thanks

I'm not so sure your problems are related to firmware changes if you are still having problems. Are there other competing APs in your area? Usually wirelesss N routers clober wireless G APs. Have you looked at your notebook wirless NIC drivers for a solution?
