I currently have a Linksys wireless router, model WRT54GX2 connected to a DSL modem and an ethernet cable to a pc downstairs. Upstairs I have a pc that I want to wirelessly connect to the network. I am currently using a Linksys wireless network adapter, model WMP54GX. Everything works fine but I can't use the wireless adapter unless WIndows XP x64 Edition. I have contacted Linksys and searched countless web sites trying to find third-party drivers for the adapter but it seems as though they don't exist because I have revision 1.0. Long story short, my question is can I connect a wireless router to my pc upstairs via ethernet and connect to the wireless network downstairs? If it is possible, how difficult would it be? Thanks in advance for your help! :)
