I just replaced my router and wireless adapter with Linksys Wireless G with Speedbooster-both router and adapter. Router is on another pc and is working fine. This pc is running WIN XP Media center. I keep getting access violations and the install process tells me that this hardware is not compatible with my OS. It needs some sort of "Logo" from the manufacturer. I have uninstalled and downloaded the driver direct from Linksys & reinstalled. The access violations continue and firefox repeatedly shuts down with an unnamed error. Can someone please help me solve this annoying problem. Especially after I just dumped competitor Netgear for lousy service and shoddy products. The adapter is model # WUSB54GS v.2. Thanks.:hearts:

are you using the windows installer or the linksys utility? Sounds like you may have some system errors because the driver installation would have nothing to do with firefox.
