Wish List - squid support in dd-wrt

It would be really a super great feature if dd-wrt could support squid and/or wpad.dat and/or outbound port passive redirection.

I am building a 1,000 DD-WRT client network. I am using wpad.dat to get some clients to use my caching proxy server - but only new browsers with auto discovery find my squid servers.

I really wish there was a feature in DD-WRT which could re-direct lan outbound traffic to port 80 from lan clients --to-- port 3128 on a squid (caching proxy server) in my NOC.

If I use passive port redirection on my Cisco routers, the CPU load can get quite high as the network grows. Passive port redirection can be done better on the client CPE.
