I wanted to report this as a bug; not sure if it's Linksys code related or HyperWRT specific. Problem has existed (to my knowledge) since HyperWRT 1.3. Disabling the WLAN works for as long as the actual unit does not lose power (this does not apply to a software reboot). Once the unit loses power, WLAN is re-enabled despite the configuration setting. Managed to confirm this on two entirely different WRT54GS units (one owned by myself, and one by a friend of mine in Virginia); I can test on a WRT54Gv2 if necessary. Please see about tracking this bug down, as those of us who want the WLAN PHY disabled become fairly annoyed having to go back into the configuration, enable the WLAN, save, disable the WLAN, and save. Thanks.
