WMA11b as network bridge?

    Linksys Gurus,

Does anyone know of a means to turn the WMA11b into an ethernet bridge? The WMA11b (Wireless media adapter) has two ethernet ports, one wireless via a standard (internal) 802.11b PCMCIA card and a seperate wired ethernet port. The device isn't configured to allow use of both ports simultaneously. It looks for a connection on both and picks only one to enable at boot time.
I would like to find a way to allow another device to connect to the wired port and access the same network available via the wireless connection.
In essence, I want to get the functionality of a WGA11b (wireless game adapter) out of my new WMA11b.

    Thanks for any advise!!
    -Ben

    WMA11B question on dowloaded WMAs

As a question, were you able to get WMA11B to work with DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected music (format of most download services)?
I can only get to work with music ripped from CDs.

    WMA11-B Conflict with XP SP2

Linksys Support tells me there is a conflict with the WMA11-B and XP SP2. My Adapter folder can not be seen by my primary PC and the adapter will not connect. Anyone else been told this by Linksys? I was told in mid-January 2005 only choices are uninstall SP2 or await a Linksys fix.

Put all the *.exe files into the windows firewall exceptions and you're good to go
