    Hallo guys!
I have 2 WMP54GS to my 2 pcs at home. Both of them have Windows XP Pro SP2.I have them 6 months and I cant connect them.
Please can you tell me one by one the steps that I have to do and what drivers and software to install?
It would be better someone that has an ad-hoc connection with these two cards and xp pro sp2 to tell me how he managed to connect them.

I cant handle anymore with these two cards,I have tryed all the solutions that I can think.
    I beg for help!!!

Use windowxp Zero Client Configuration in windowxp sp2

In window xp sp2,wireless uility have been provided so,
I would advice you to install drive for the pcl wireless adapter.
Then go to control panel, click on windowxp Zero Client Configuration and configure to the Zero Client Configuration. It will work well.
But do not install the firmware, it wil crash Zero Client Configuration
I have done his with my usb wireless adaptor.

    good luck to you,

Do not install the Wlan client softwre it is not compatible with Windows XP SP2. Are you using infrastructure (connecting to a router or AP) or are you doing ad-hoc (connecting two computers together? If you are doing ad-hoc, you have to set both WMP54GS' to the same SSID and channel. You have to assign a static IP address to both WMP54G's, One may be 192.168.1.1 and the other 192.168.1.2 with the same subnet of 255.255.255.0. There will be no gateway or DNS address, so leave them bothblank. You should see the network using Windows Zero Configuration service. I am not sure if you should have the Windows Firewall enabled, so it may be best to disable it. The speedbooster does not work in Ad-hoc.
