I was very puzzled on how I previously had enabled WPA2-SPK on my WMP54-G adapter under Windows XP until I was forced to clean install Windows XP this week. Now I understand how to easily set up WPA2 support for this adapter that uses the RT2500 chipset. The key is to... 1) go to... http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...4d-e7c1-48d6-95ee-1459234f4483&DisplayLang=en ...to install the KB893357 update for WPA2-SPK support and then... 2) go to Windows Update in Internet Explorer and install the Cisco Linksys driver optional hardware update. I have verified that step 1 is insufficient to cause the WPA2 entries to appear in the wireless properties menu but once step 2 is performed these menus will be there and functional.
Or... in the step 2, goto to http://www.ralinktech.com/supp-1.htm and download and install the RT2500 driver and installl manually... it run fine on my WMP54G v4.
