I've been getting the periodic disconnects from the internet that I've read about in several other posts. However, it seems to be an adapter issue vs. the router. I have the WMP54GS card (unsure how to determine the version) with the latest LinkSys drivers. When I lose connectivity on my PC, I can still use the internet on my PowerBook with the Airport Extreme adapter. Did I end up with a bad Linksys Adapter? It seems strange that it would drop out while a third party product would remain stable. Here's some more information about my current set-up.

Router: WRT54GS v1.0 (latest official Linksys firmware)
Adapter: WMP54GS version unknown (latest official Linksys drivers)
    Cable Modem: Motorola SB5100

    Any thoughts?
