Hi guys,Im sorry, i know this question has been asked a good few times with regards to the WMP54G but not the (S) version and I want to confirm a few things.
Im using a WPM54GS v1.1 in Vista (64bit) and although it see's the wireless connection, the Linksys software just says. "Cannot associate with AP".
I have turned security off my WRV54G (Router) for time being to see if that could help but alas no, I have the 2 almost 3 metres apart and still will not associate, when I try using the windows wireless config, it see's the connection again but just wont connect?
I have tried changing the channel 3 times 11,10 and 6, I have also used NetStumbler to check for interferance, there is some but very little.
Now this issue raised its head before when I couldnt connect but could see the wireless network, it was a firmware conflict between the router(using U.S) and the adapter(using E.U) firmware. Now this is going to be slightly harder to fix as the WMP VIsta 64bit drivers are certainly not tried and tested.
Has anyone gotten this device to work using the non speedbooster or the speedbooster firmware or can someone at leasat confirm with me that the WMP54GS v1 & v1.1 use the Broadcom Drivers.

    Thanks

for anyone wanting to get either the 32 or 64 bit drivers for Vista please look no further than HiSpeeds post here : http://www.linksysinfo.org/forums/showthread.php?t=47999
I can confirm these do work for both 32 and 64bit versions of Vista, but Im still currently trying to sort out an issue where with any type of Wireless Security enabled on the network the device wont connect,I'm not sure if this is a Vista or Driver issue. Ill update this post if I find out more.

EDIT: It seems Vista DOES NOT like WEP as security. It only likes dealing with WPA or WPA2. Investigate more tomorrow.
