WMP54GX XP shutdown error

I just got the WRT54GX v. 2 router and a WMP54GX PCI card to go along with it. Both work great and my internet connection for the PC with the WMP54GX has never had a stronger signal or better connection.

However, when I shutdown Win XP I always get an error which says

    Application Error - WMP54GX.exe error

Application command tried to reference memory at 0X1000013d4, memory at 0X1000013d4 cannot be read. Press ok to close or cancel to debug.

Then windows shutsdown. It doesn't seem to cause any system instability or any other problems but just is annoying whenever I shutdown. I've tried reinstalling the WMP54GX driver and changed the PCI slot the card was in but nothing has worked.

Any ideas how to fix this memory access problem? Thanks.

    My computer is a:

    AMD64 3700+
    2 GB Crucial Value Ram
160 GB HD with about 115 GB free on 2 partitioned drives
Creative Audigy 2 Value PCI sound card
    ATI X850XT: PE card.
Windows XP SP2 with all the latest updates

I have Norton Systemworks 2006 on it and MS Office 2003 as well.

Sorry forgot to say that the error message is a rough paraphrase of the actual message.
