The Netgear WNDR3700 is an Atheros-based dual-radio, dual-band 802.11n router with Gigabit ports and media-enabled USB drive sharing. It has wan-lan throuput of ~400mbps, and wifi throughput is ~60mbps It already runs OpenWRT, with DD-WRT coming soon. Can we get tomato on it?

I am also curious about it. I purchased a Netger WNDR3700 and its really fast. I would really love to see Tomato on it...

Here is the Link to the Netgear Page: http://netgear.com/Products/RoutersandGateways/WirelessNRoutersandGateways/WNDR3700.aspx

Here a review on smallnetbuilder: http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/wire...5-start-your-buying-netgear-wndr3700-reviewed

And here the Info-Page from openwrt: http://wiki.openwrt.org/inbox/netgear/wndr3700

It looks like the WNDR3700 outperforms the ASUS RT-N16.
It has an Atheros AR7161 . Clockspeed is 680MHz, Ram: 64 MB and Flash: 8 MB. OpenWRT is working on it and also DD-WRT does. I really prefer TOMATO as the Firmware for my routers and I wanted to ask if there is some developement goin around for this device?

From all the Smallnetbuilder tests, it has pretty much the fastest WiFi out there (in real-world tests)... I'd love to see it... though I thought Tomato could only handle Broadcom radios.
So far there are no Tomato routers that can run 5Ghz N-Wifi with 40Mhz channels.... right?

Is there a chance that developement of tomato will also hit this Router from Netgear?? Is there a way to donate so that you can buy such a device and make Tomato run on the device?

    Thank you
