    Hi,

    does anybody know how to implement a startup script to wake up a powered off pc at a given hour?

    I know that the WOL command is "ether-wake -i br0 xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx"

    (br0/eth0/eth1/etc)

    thanks

    Found It!

    For anyone who might need it:

    cru a wakepc "* * * * * ether-wake -i br0 xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx"

    * - time
    xx - mac address

    Sure,

    The 5 stars mean (from left to right):

    - minutes
    - hour (0-23)
    - day of month
    - month
    - day of week (0-sunday, and so on)

    cru a wakepc "30 8 * * * ether-wake -i br0 xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx"

    This will turn on the pc at 8.30 every day

    Where should this script be implemented? Should it be in Init? or Firewall?
