I bought a used fujitus stylistic 4120 tablet (to use as a GPS in my jeep). It doesn't have a wireless card in it so I'am using my Wireless-G notebook adapter. So I down loaded the drivers , and a icon is there with the red X. So I click it to start it working. But it can't find a wireless network. And a note in that window says to try the WZC service. I down load Microsoft Fix It 50469. And that works. The problem is when I turn off the computer and start it up again. It still don't see any wireless network. So I run the Microsoft fix it again. And the wireless is there. Do you have any Ideas? Thanks funnnyfarm

The best way to determine if the Wireless Zero Configuration service is running on your computer is by using the Computer Management facility. Follow the steps below to verify that the service is running:

    1. Click Start

    2. Right-click on My computer

    3. Select computer management

    4. Under services and applications, select services

    5. Look for the service Wireless Zero Configuration

    6. Make sure that it is started and that the startup type is set to automatic. If it isn't, right-click on the service and select properties and set it to startup automatically.
