WPA2 - How to make my WLAN secure?

    Hi, wpa2 comes with the ne dd-wrt firmware.

    I want to make my wlan secure - is wpa2 the right way?

    But which wpa2 with which options? And what does all this options mean?

    wpa2 is the way to go. it uses stronger algorithm but it is dependent on your wireless client.

    my config: WRT54G, dd-wrt v23, intel pro 2200bg, intel proset/wireless software tool. i use "wpa pre-shared key only with aes". on the lappy, i enable wpa personal using the intel proset software.

    older g clients with wpa. use"wpa pre-shared key mixed with tkip+aes". use the built in microsoft connection client tool.

    i assume this is a home or small business connection. for an enterprise solution, you will need a radius server and lots of patience and know how!
