    Hi all,

There's a newer driver on the Linksys site for the WPC300N then the one I'm using. The version that came on the CD is The newer version on the linksys site is v6.0.0.204. But I'm not gonna install this version yet. Wanna be sure there are no (negative) side effects like with the latest firmware for the router.

Anybody used this new version of the driver for the card yet (without getting any problems).

    Regards, Johan.

I just installed the new driver (v6.0.0.204) from the Linksys site after all. It seems to be working fine. Also - the card is no longer connecting to a Wireless-G Network (with a speed of 54 Mbit). It's now connecting to a Wireless-N Network, as it should be doing (as I'm using the WRT300N). The actual Transmit rate showing in the control panel is now 216 MBit.

What's annoying, b.t.w., is that you have to deinstall the older driver (you get a warning by the installer that you have to do this). And then you have to remove the adapter of course, and install the new driver. *sighs*.

    Regards, Johan.
