Hey all, has anyone succesfully managed to sync their devices using the bluetooth collaboration feature of this card? Linksys verified it was possible but did not say how to do it! Mark
dito I would like to know the answer to this one too? Do I still have to buy a USB bluetooth adapter to interface with my mobile phone?
Hi there, it might not be the appropriate place, but i was pointed to this forum by the technician guy i got my laptop from. i got myself a dell c400 that has a wlan card installed inside. its a broadcom 4306/2050 chip and has a utility on the desktop. i managed to connect to wifi lan no problem. i was wondering, do anyone know if this chip has bluetooth enabled and how to use it? in device manager, it says bluetooth collaboration enabled, does this mean bluetooth on?if yes, how to make use of it??? its a head scratcher all right. thanks a lot for helping me out...
Kids, I must destroy your silly dreams... Bluetooth Collaboration enables general purpose input/output transmit suppression protocol between the IEEE 802.11 media access control (MAC) and an external Bluetooth chip to minimize transmit interference. Bluetooth Collaboration is enabled by default. Read for yourself...
yup. thanks for the info. i realised that 2-3 hours after posting while browsing around... such a shame but thanks for taking the time to answer. No bluetooth if anyone didnt understand...
