I also have a Linksys WPC54G v1.2. If you check this site every once in a while you will find links to the latest drivers from Dell and Broadcom as well as the Linksys drivers. I have used them all and they all work well with the v1.2. Dell was the first to come out with a driver that supported WPA2, but now they all do. The most current driver available that I know of is, Broadcom 3.140.16.0. I found it in one of the threads here not too long ago. I'll check and post back with a link, or you could just Google it. Good Luck!

There's the link to the Broadcom driver. Just double click on the cab file after downloading and then right click each of the three files and extract them. You can rename your current bcmwl5.sys file to bcmwl5.sys.old if you want to save the old driver, (I recommend this until you know that the new driver works for you.) You can find that file at: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers
Then copy and paste the new bcmwl5.sys file to: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers
You can find the original post with this link in the Broadcom...Sticky near the top of this forum.

...I tried the driver suggested here, but it was working very bad..
Bad signal and unstable. I went back to the latest driver from Linksys... and it's much better.
    Thanks anyway.
    Regards
