Try connecting the WPS54G to wag354g gateway and running the setup wizard again or the biadmin utilility. If you can find the print server at that point configure it. Follow the quick setup guide. After you configurated the printserver save the setting. disconnect the printserver and power it down and up. The WPS54G can only be connected to either a wired or wireless connection, but not both. You can try to upgrade the firmware, but I have had problems with the firmware version 6049 and I am using version 6047. If you are upgrading the firmware, reset the printserver to original factory setting and do the firmware update from a wired connection only. If you are doing a web based upgrade, you will find the firmware update under the help.

If you install a wireless PCI adapter in your desktop computer you have to install the driver for the wireless NIC, you do not have to re-install any of the printserver software. You can remove the network cable at that point.

    sorry to ask again BUT.

i disconnected rj45 from gateway to pc.
    installed pci card
turned pc on & installed driver (windows xp self install)
then removed rj45 from printserver to gateway.
but im back to having no printer now.

is there sum thing else i should do or can i uninstall printserver and reinstall as a wireless printer from fresh....

Power cycle the WPS54G. If you do not do this the WPS54G will not establish a connection using its radio.
