Hi, without trying to make my brain hurt even more with this damned product, i would like to ask a question.
I am on a wired network, with a switch connecting to a pc with a wireless pci card in it. I am trying to get this pc to communicate with the wps54g with a brother hl5140 attched. Should this be possible without any additonal wireless equipment.
I have tried for hours to get these two to see each other wirelessly, but to no avail.

You have to setup both the wireless card and WPS54G in Ad Hoc mode with the the same SSID, channel and encryption. Use the new setupwizard from Linksys, which is available from the Linksys Support site. Follow the instructions with the setup wizard, you must connect your WPS54G to your switch to make it work. You may have to assign static IP Addresses, since you idicated you have a switch and did not indicate you have a DHCP server to the wireless card and the WPS54G. The HL5140 is a laser printer with both a paralell and USB2 port. You can only use the USB2 port, since the WPS54G only has a USB2 port. Once you have configured the WPS54G, disconnect it from the switch and power it down for at least 30 seconds and then power it back up and see if you can connect to it wirelessly.
