I have a problem setting up a WPS54GU2 wireless print server:

Initial setup w/ XP Professional SP1 laptop worked great. The system was able to detect the print server and both parallel and USB printers. However, two other workstations on same network will not detect the print server with User Install or Bi-Admin utilities via wireless or ethernet connected.

Systems that can't detect are Dell desktop and Toshiba Laptop - both XP SP2 - Home Edition.

Later a WIN2K Professional laptop was attempted. This system was also able to detect the print server.

Is there a specific problem with XP Home edition not being able to detect the print server? Auto-updates and firewall have been turned off. Linksys knowledgebase and tech-support have been less-than-helpful in resolving the issue.

    Please advise of any workarounds...

Are you using ad hoc mode without a router for wireless connection? I have a dual boot desktop and can find the WPS54GU2 with both the Home Edition and Professional version with SP2 both through ethernet and wireless connections. Which wireless NIC do you have in the both laptops that cannot connect? Just remember thw the WPS54GU2 and the WPS54G, will use a wired or wireless connection, but not both at one time.
