Hey guys, I just upgraded from a wired Linksys router and B wireless access point to the wireless G router. Everything works the same as it did before except for my FTP server. On my old Linksys router, I had a tab in setup for UPnP and had some FTP port 21 settings configured there. I'm using Bulletproof FTP server btw.

So I'm trying to figure out if that's the problem or if I need to do some reconfig. In the new WR54GS, there are no UPnP settings. The way I had it setup was port ranges xxxx-xxxxx were pointing to my server box in the Port Forwarding tab and in the UPnP tab port 21 was pointing to the server also. I read the user guide and it had port 21 pointing to Was that just an example or is that the correct setup?

On the stock firmware (if I remember), go to Admin > Advanced > port forwarding

Once there, you will see rows of column boxes. Enter the name of the app (optional), the port range you want forwarded (21), protocol (both), and the ip address of the machine running the app.

    Ftp 21 Both 192.168.1.xxx

If you have any problems I believe that linksys has a limited knowledge base.

I actually figured this out last night. Problem was I had PSV transfer setup in the FTP server software. It worked before but I guess it won't work now with my new router.
