I've noticed something weird with my router. First, I've got two PC's. Main one via ethernet, second one in another room via wireless card. MAC address filtering for the wirelss, WPA encryption. I've got DHCP handing out a max of three IP addresses (in case I need to hook up a friend's comp for troubleshoooting, etc.....)

Anyway, for some reason WinMx will only work on the FIRST IP address listed. So, for example, if my three IP's the router doles out ended in 192.168.01, .02, and .03 only the computer with .01 would get access to WinMx. I've got the ports properly put in port forwarding for each IP address listed as "allow", both the TCP and UDP for the WinMx program.

Anyone else seen this behavior??? Oh, and I know there will be someone who brings up the "WinMX was shut down dummy!" statement.

There is a workaround, and yes, it does work! Google it & you'll see what I'm talking about.

    Can anyone help?

You can only forward a port to one IP address. (You can obviously forward a port to more than one IP address in the configuration screen, but only the first rule is applied regardless of other rules. This means that when you are on PC 02 all the forwarded traffic is being sent to 01)

You need to either configure WinMX to use different ports on each computer (and then adjust your port forwarding accordingly) or use Port Triggering.
