I know the WRT54GC has support for this out of the box. It also appears that some third-party firmware (DD-WRT & Alchemy?) for the WRT54G adds this feature.

Are there any other options? Do any of the official releases for the WRT54G/GS have this functionality? I ask as I'll be getting a laptop that will be used in multiple wireless environments and would rather not configure it with a static IP.
