Hi, i've been having annoying disconnecton issues when my laptop (with wireless-N). After about 20min or an hour of downloading torrent files that can take over an hours to get, the network icon (by the clock) on my laptop get a red X and i'm disconnected from the internet. This happens daily. When i am on, I get full connection rate of 280 to the router and can download no problem, so wireless-N is working. When there is a disconnect, for some reason i cannot see the router when i scan for networks in the neighborhood. It only re-appears after i unplug the power to the router and plug it back in after a minute. I set PSK2-Personal, shared key, and key renewal is 3600sec. On laptop, i set WPA2-Personal, with same shared key.

I spoke to a linksys rep in a real time window, and the rep said that the disconnect will occur if the Key Renewal is happening while i'm downloading files, since the downloading of packets happen very quick and any change in protocol causes a discrepancy in the packets and thus a disconnect. Is this true?? And if so, is there a way to make the Key Renewal to infinity, or in other words never occur again?
