    Hello,

I am writing this post just to get some information.
First of all i would like to know how many people already own that router, and if there are people that are going to buy it.

Secondly i would like to ask if there are any daring people that have some skills. If there is enought votes, i could buy that router (or glad if someone could sponsorship it or part of it) and work on alternative firmware for it. FIrstly it would be based on stock software but i would be going on to extend it and make easier, to be like tomato or better (most popular 3rd party firmware i guess).

But first of all i need to know if there is any sense of doing that. And then if there is anyone that could help me...

    * in topic means that it is unavailable in my country.

I would wait until the N standard is completed before buying a new router. So far, for my home user needs, the GL is more than enough. I can d/l at about 2.5 MB/s over wireless and i can get the full 5 MB/s that my ISP offers via cable on my wired PC.

But who knows, if somebody could port Tomato flawlessly on these newer *faster CPU* routers, maybe i'd buy one. But it'd have to have a GIGABIT switch and an USB port.
