I bought a WRT300N router two weeks ago and could not get a stable wireless connection out of it. I also have a Dell Latitude D630 laptop with an Intel 4965agn wireless adapter. I got fed up with the router thinking it was faulty and exchanged it. I am on my second WRT300N and it has the same problem. If I setup any wireless security (WEP, WPA, etc.) the wireless connection becomes flaky. After some time the connection drops and won't reconnect for a while (sometimes 10 minutes). During this time I can still connect via Ethernet, but I have to power cycle the router to re-establish a wireless connection. Sometimes that doesn't even work. I don't think the problem is my laptop because I have other wireless devices that also lose their connection at the same time. Now I have disabled security (I am still using MAC filtering), and have maintained a connection nearly all day. I don't want to leave my network like this. Any ideas?
