Hi all, I finally got my own WRT300N and WPC300N (the v2 European Version). I also got it connected with the livebox from Wanadoo (in bridge mode), as I mentioned that I would do on the "WRT300N-UK V2.0 Review *UPDATED*... " post. But what surprises me is that in the Control Panel the WPC is showing as connecting to a Wireless-G network (this being the value of of the property Network type). Shouldn't it be showing Wireless-N? The driver version of the notebook card is 184.108.40.206. There is a new driver for the card. I've looked on the linksys site (the dutch subsite) - allthough it's only shown as a v1 driver it does contain a driver for the v2. If you download the version info it mentions this being a driver for the european version. Way to go Linksys. Another issue is that they show the release version as being 220.127.116.11. If you read the version info however it mentions driver version v18.104.22.168. Ah well. I'm not gonna install this version yet. Wanne be sure there are no (negative) side effects like with the latest firmware for the router. I'm just glad linksysinfo is around . The firmware version of the router is 2.00.08. I know this is an older version - but I didn't want to install 2.00.13 (the only one you can get on the linksys site), because of the problems that were mentioned about this version on linksysinfo. And I don't know how to get version 11 or the 14 beta. Regarding that - I did try to ask those 2 Version over the linksys live chat. But the guy helping me told me he couldn't get me those. I'd have to contact linksys support and request them by e-mail. And we all know how long that can take *sighs*. To my questions: Anybody any idea why the wpc300n doesn't connect to a Wireless-N network (should it anyway?). Anybody used this new version of the driver for the card yet? And can somebody help me get those two versions of the firmware for the WRT300n? Regards, Johan.
