WRT330n or WRT350n

hey guys i believe my poor old WRT54G (Ver1) is finally dieing. I flashed it to the latest DD-WRT in hopes that it could be saved but I think it is on it's last legs... (moment of silence please). Any hoo... I have been doing my due diligence and trying to find a viable replacement for my router. I have narrowed it down to either the WRT330n or the WRT350n. The 330 is called a "gaming" router that is supposedly "optimized" for specific traffic. The 350 just seems to be a hoss. The reason I picked these two is because they seem to have the pretty much the same config. They both have 10/100/1000 lan support  and oodels of wireless options. The 330 is $10 cheaper than the 350 but they don't really seem to be all that different. (330 is $160 and the 350 is $170 on newegg) Here is a comparison...

if you'd like to have a look. It looks to me like some things options and settings have been disabled or restricted in the firmware. These two models are probably identical. Except one is a really cool black color and the other is a typical linksys color scheme.

I would like to know if anyone knows if there are any differences to be concerned about between these two routers. Also I would like to know if there would be any issues with loading the "better" firmwares for the WRT350n on the WRT330n. Thanks for any help.

To be honest for $10 I would go with the 350N router. I don't think the 330N has a USB port to connect a hard drive. I know that was a big selling point for me to buy the 350N.

Now if they came out with some new firmware that actually fixed the locking up every few days of the USB port on the 350N then it might actually be worth spending that extra $10 for it. I'm very disappointed in my purchase of my 350N. They promise all these features and then they sell them to you half finished and with no promises that they'll ever get it right. Top of the line router for top dollar and we have to wait 6+ months for new firmware to fix problems that should have been corrected before they shipped out the first box. If someone were to get a class action lawsuit started against them, I'd join it in a second.

I'm not so concerned with the USB port as I am building a NAS. Also not really concerned about the $10 either. Was just using that as an example of the only documented differences between the two. Also since my first post I have found several places where people complain about the USB not working on the 350N. I suppose it would be nice to have for when I flash it with another firmware and just plug in a USB key so that the router will have more storage for running apps off the router. Still seen several posts where this is also a pain to do. Also depends on whether it is a v1 or v2. Was hoping someone could point me to more detailed info on the 330N as I can only find specs on the 350N. V1 of the 350at that. Still no info posted about 350N v2. Again... any help would be appreciated. Not sure how much longer my 54G router will last. Thanks.

Did you end up getting the 330N? I was curious as my WSGS54 is dying and I ordered the 330N. I saw the posts about the USB port not being quite rock solid yet. Does the 330N have support for DD-WRT?
