WRT350N another brick in the wall

I find a lot of information about the 54G and how it can be reset by shorting pins 15-16 on the flash chip. Is this possible on the WRT350N box?

I opened my 350N hoping it would look the same as the photos of the 54G, but it's different and I'm afraid of randomly poking around with a screwdriver.

My problem is that the 350N suddenly became unresponsive. No ping. Reset button does nothing. Blinking power light.

Another really odd symptom I have now is that the port lights are shifted down one. For example, if I plug in a computer to port 4 the light for #3 comes on. Plugging in a computer to port 1 illuminates the Internet light. What's that about?

This box has been working properly for about a week with the dd-wrt v24 software. I turned it off to move it across the room and when I plugged it back in this is what I found.

    Any advice much appreciated.
