I have no idea of what to make of this situation. I know everyone's been griping about the router and has had their fair share of problems.

    I have a WRT350N with firmware version 1.03.2. I haven't had time to update to 1.03.7 yet.

I've tried all of the suggestions that have been listed on the Linksys support forums, here and tweaking around with a few things myself.

I have one buddy/roomate who is raging over the fact his computer constantly locks up despite the fact I've told him to reinstall his adapter along with the updated drivers.

We both have WMP300N cards installed and it's been the constant 1MBps issue.

I'm using the Windows Zero Configuration. The other computer WAS using the Linksys monitor until my buddy uninstalled the WMP54G drivers from hsi computer which has caused the monitor to vanish.

I'm in an area littered with wireless traffic so trying to find a decent channel has been an experiment in itself.

I'm back to using a WRT54G v4.1 for now. Oddly enough backwards compatability has yielded some fluctuating results. Signal strength is excellent, however speeds fluctuate anywhere between 5.5 and 54MBps

I guess for now my WRT350N is a door stop or some sort of paperweight.

Go get the 1.03.7 firmware. I just bought this router with 1.03.2 on it and I was pretty surprised that the storage tab just gave me a white screen. I was also kind of disapointed that the firmware update tool gave me the dreaded "UPGRADE ARE FAILED" message. What a lame joke. However using TFTP and setting my interface to 10mbs/half duplex worked just fine getting the router to take the new firmware. As far as I can tell everything is working. I think connecting to the storage from a local machine is rather slow but otherwise I am very happy.
