    (Using latest Firmware 1.03.7).

On a 1Gbit/s link - downloading large file from WRT350N Storage link, with the USB Drive connected, yields an average network utilization of 6% (60Mbit/s).

On a 1Gbit/s link - downloading same file from PC, with the same USB Drive connected, yields an average network utilization of 48% (~480Mbit/s ... ~100% efficiency).

Giving the fact that A Hi-Speed USB (2.0) gives the theoretic bandwidth of 480Mbit/s (60 MByte/s), one can see that the overall degradation with WRT350N is very significant (8 times slower).

I don't buy the excuse that the WRT530N does it's best and this is the max performance envelope of this embedded system. I have seen other embedded NAS devices with weaker hardware performs at least 5 times faster...

Have seen some posts with the same complaint, why Linksys does not do anything about this?!?!?!

I have the same issue, could anyone shed light on this problem?

v2 of the router has approx the same low performance on USB drive.
