    Hello Everyone,

I recently came from DSL to cable and obtained a WRT54-TM from a friend. I flashed it to dd-wrt and had it working perfectly and got curious and tried a flash to tomato. Every since then, I cant seem to connect to the internet and Windows Vista states "Local Only". I have tried to power cycle and reset the router to its default settings. I've restarted the router about 5 times and had 1 instance where it connected but got d/ced not too long after. I've read a lot of stuff about cloning the mac address, what are they referring to? Am I cloning my network adapter's MAC, modem's MAC, or router's MAC? Will this be worth a shot? Any suggestions/comments are appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Usually cloning is not necessary for cable. Have you tried to power cycle the modem, and then the router - in that order?
